Maximum Fares: Drivers may agree to discount rates for trips over 5 miles as long as the meter keeps running:

An Airport Departure Tax of $2.00 per trip, not per passenger, is added to trip to and from O'Hare and Midway Airports.
A Gas Surcharge may apply to your fare. If Gas Surcharge is in effect, a sign will be displayed in this taxicab.
Tolls are an extra charge to the passenger.
All fees will appear as an "EXTRA" charge on the taxi meter.
Average fares depending upon traffic conditions:

Rates to all suburbs are straight meter to the city limits and one and one half times the meter rate from city limit to destination. Ask about flat rates to Gary airport.
Shared Ride Zones:
Four persons maximum-10 minute wait for passengers not traveling together. Prices listed are per person/trip.Shared rides are available from O'Hare and Midway airports and McCormick Place to anywhere in the designated boundaries:
